What is PRP Facial Rejuvenation?

PRP is known as Platelet Rich Plasma which is obtained from a person’s own blood to induce collagen and healthy blood vessels in the face. The process is obtained by centrifuging the blood after it has been drawn. A combined technique of Microneedling and injections of the plasma is used to achieve a younger glowing looking skin with no down time. When PRP is injected into the damaged area it causes a mild inflammation that triggers the healing cascade. As the platelets organize in the treatment area they release a number of enzymes to promote healing and tissue responses including attracting stem cells and growth factors to repair the damaged area. As a result, new collagen begins to develop. As the collagen matures it begins to shrink causing the tightening and strengthening of the damaged area.

How long does it typically last?

After a series of 2 to 3 treatments, its results can last anywhere from 12-24 months.
